Meet The Team
Julie-Ann
DirectorI have worked in care from a very young age, taking care of my disabled mother. I've also worked in community nursing to palliative care. I've worked for Birmingham City Council for 17 year in adult day care. I've also worked for an ambulance service giving first aid while on duty at cricket matches, music festivals and more. I have met lots of different people from all different background, with different needs. I believe working in care with a proffessional caring approach, giving my training and high standards that heads to a healthy dedicated friendly team.

CarerI thrive on giving people their independance back as they make new friends. It makes me satisfied knowing I can full-fill someones day with entertainment, games and happiness while giving them a proffessional and one to one service. It also brings me a relief knowing they will be safe in the hands of professionals as they enjoy their selves and being provided with a hot nutritious meal.

CarerI enjoy and love my job because it doesnt feel like I'm coming to work. It feels like I'm coming to see my nan's and grandad's. Here at Balance we are like one big family.

Senior CarerWith many years as a carer, it's still a very rewarding job. Every day is different. It's a pleasure supporting people to keep their independance and to stop isolation.
